Happy birthday to Salvador Dalí, who was born on this day 120 years ago!

This iconic photo was a collaboration between Dalí and photographer Philippe Halsman. It took them 28 tries to get it right.

Dalí was interested in exploring how the mind interprets reality and new avenues of thought and creation.

Transparency and Fractional Ownership in the Blue Chip Artwork Market. The article I'm referring to beautifully illustrates these two important aspects. A talented young art dealer, recognizing the vulnerability of the market's archaic system, hacked it most simply - by exploiting the opacity and behind-the-scenes dealings that still surround most transactions involving Blue Chip Artwork.

He simply sold ownership shares in high-value art assets to his clients. To clients who view art not as something to hang on the wall, but as investments.
What's the catch? He was selling ownership shares in assets whose owners were unaware 😅😂🙈
In other words, he was collecting money from buyers of shares in some expensive artwork without having any rights to sell those assets. Or, having the right to sell an asset obtained from the owner, he sold the same ownership shares in it several times to different people.

You might ask, how is this possible? Well, why wouldn't it be? If there's no unified registry of ownership rights to such assets, if it's considered normal in the market to negotiate "in the gray area" and act through intermediaries, such schemes will continue to happen. And they do. The high-profile story of Inigo Philbrick is just one of the most noticeable in recent years, but far from the only one.
Now it becomes clearer why we are creating a unified blockchain platform - a registry of data on unique physical assets, equipped with crypto-certificates of authenticity and ownership.

P.S.: Sentenced to 7 years, Inigo served just over half and was released. How many hidden millions he still has, we don't know.

SALVADOR DALI: Christ of Saint John of the Cross painted in 1951, depicting Jesus Christ on the cross in a darkened sky floating over a body of water complete with a boat and fishermen. It is devoid of nails, blood, and a crown of thorns, because, Dalí was convinced by a ‘cosmic dream’ that these features would mar his depiction of Christ. The extreme angle evident in the painting was revealed to him.
In order to create the figure of Christ, Dalí had Hollywood stuntman Russell Saunders suspended from an overhead gantry, so he could see how the body would appear from the desired angle and also envisage the pull of gravity on the human body.
For Christians, Easter is a time to celebrate Resurrection & Life. This powerful work is in the collection of the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow.

Hi everyone! So, let's talk about the Market Size. Some fascinating info came up while I was preparing this post. SWIFT, the global interbank payment system, mentioned in its latest report a forecast by the Boston Consulting Group. It predicts that by 2030, the market for tokenized real-world assets (RWA) will reach $16 trillion.

Now, take a look at the screenshot - they don't even consider assets like collectibles. Understandable, since they're primarily focused on the financial sector. That's why we've set our pitch deck at $16 trillion as a minimum threshold.

But what about the maximum? According to several forecasts (I can send you the research upon request), it could reach up to $68 trillion. Sixty-eight trillion dollars in six years for a market that doesn't even exist yet! It's still in its infancy stage. Pretty mind-blowing, huh?

Now, let's shift gears. What about the turnover of the collectibles market right now, without RWA tokenization? Official forecasts predict a trillion dollars annually by 2030, and that's without even considering RWA!
But here's the kicker: I'm willing to bet that there's already a trillion-dollar turnover in this market. And you know why? Because unique collectible assets are NOT subject to mandatory declaration.

Fancy, isn't it? You're required to declare your house, car, and money in the bank, but... NOT a $40 million Van Gogh painting!!!! 😀👌😅
What's holding back the growth of the physical collectibles market? The high cost of Blue Chip Artwork assets, which prevents small investors from participating, and the opacity of the traditional market, coupled with high intermediary costs. All of these issues are addressed by RWA Tokenization and Fractional Ownership mechanisms. How exactly? I'll write about that tomorrow.

Yep, just like a movie director, I’m setting the stage for some intrigue and drama! Because let’s face it, without a little excitement, who’s gonna stick around, right?
🔍 So, what’s the Problem? Well, picture this: there’s a vast treasure trove of unique assets out there, just waiting to be discovered.
The combined value? It’s mind-boggling. Some of these assets are stashed away in freeports (special tax havens), and trust me, you’d need a lot more than a wide piece of paper to jot down their worth!
💰 But here’s the kicker: the value of these unique collectibles far surpasses the entire market cap of all cryptocurrencies (currently at around $2.5 trillion). And guess what? Many of these assets are just sitting there, ownerless—or rather, owned by folks who might not even realize what they’ve got.
🌐 As the world goes digital, younger generations like Millennials and Gen Z are stepping into the spotlight. They’re digital natives, born and bred with smartphones in hand. And let’s not forget about the older crowd—hey, they’re getting tech-savvy too! But here’s the thing: there’s a massive gap between the current owners of these hidden treasures and the potential new buyers.
💡 That’s where we come in. We’re building a platform—a bridge, if you will—that connects sellers, buyers, and speculators in the world of unique physical assets. Think eBay, but way better. Think NFT marketplaces, but with real-world assets and bigger profits.

Итак, слайд первый - “Problem”. Нужна интрига - драматургия - мне ли, как режиссеру по образованию, этого не понимать? Иначе, дальше не интересно будет листать большинству.
В чем же проблема?
Вы не поверите, но в мире есть огромное количество бесхозных уникальных активов. Их общую стоимость трудно себе представить. Только о хранящихся в специальных фрипортах (безналоговых хранилища), один неглупый арт-дилер верно сказал::
- “У вас нет достаточно широкого листа бумаги, чтоб записать все цифры примерной стоимости активов, хранящихся там”. А это лишь малая часть.
Конкретных цифр коснусь на следующих слайдах, а сейчас лишь замечу что стоимость этих уникальных коллекционных активов в разы превышает всю совокупную капитализация всех криптовалют (~$ 2,5 T на сегодняшний день).

Термин “Бесхозные” не означает, что у них нет хозяев. Это, скорее, означает, что хозяева в основном люди старших поколений и зачастую просто не знают, что им делать со своими активами в стремительно “оцифровывающемся” мире. А некоторые не знают даже какого рода сокровищами обладают.
Мир оцифровывается, как к этому ни относись. Дети со смартфонами в руках, чуть ли не с рождения. Пожилые люди, чертыхаются, но, осваиват тоже интернет и прочее, а что делать? Это очевидный тренд и даже не тренд, а уже необходимость.
И новые поколения, играющие все более заметную роль на всех уровнях жизни. Прежде всего Миллениалы и Gen Z. Очень даже хорошо в этой “цифровизации” себя чувствуют. Многие имеют уже хорошее представление о применении блокчейна, как технологии и зарабатывали на цифровых активах. А как же физические уникальные активы, которых, если судить по их стоимости, гораздо больше, чем цифровых? Интересны ли они новым поколениям, как объекты коллекционирования и инвестиций? Да, безусловно. И тому масса подтверждений.
Но (!!!) между этими поколениями - собственниками огромного числа “скрытых активов” и их возможными новыми обладателями - нет единой коммуникационной платформы.
Платформы, позволяющей продавать, покупать и перепродавать такие активы так же легко, как вещи на Ebay, только лучше. Позволяющей спекулировать физическим активами так же легко, как “Обезьянками” на NFT маркетплейсах, только с большей прибылью и надежнее.
Платформы, понятной первым и выгодной для вторых. А вернее, выгодной для всех них, включая и, так называемых, HNWI (High Net Worth Individuals), в чьих руках находится огромное количество сверх-дорогих коллекционных активов (Blue Chip Artwork)
