🚨 Big news from CoArt!
This summer, we plan to host an auction for a Fabergé Egg on our marketplace platform.
According to historical records, Tatiana Fabergé, the great-granddaughter of the legendary master and former Vice President of the Igor Carl Fabergé Foundation, confirmed the existence of a series of eggs with a similar design. These were created by Mikhail Perkhin, one of Fabergé’s top craftsmen. His hallmark appears on the base of the egg, alongside the Fabergé workshop stamp.
These eggs were commissioned by noble families at the time, possibly as part of the Wiazemsky Collection.
Because, after all, not only emperors had money, right? 😉

We’re now working with several recognized Fabergé experts to confirm the egg’s authenticity, although we have no doubts ourselves.
💎 What’s special about this auction?
It will follow a fractional ownership model. Instead of selling the egg as a whole (which would limit access to only high-net-worth buyers), ownership will be divided into 100 million shares.
These shares will be bundled into 200 auction lots, with each lot representing a package of ownership shares.
All 200 lots will be auctioned off individually, making it possible for a large group of collectors and investors to co-own this rare piece.
Or - who knows - maybe one determined bidder will win them all and become the sole owner.
