❗Most of the time, we end up spending little time with our family because we get so busy with work. ❗
There are always targets to reach, deadlines to meet, and endless tasks to finish. We often feel pressured to up our game in our work while thinking that there will be opportunities to make up for lost time with our family (especially our kids).
✨✨✨
But then, one day we go home, and those little hands are not so little anymore. The kid who always runs after us and begs us to stay already has different interests.
IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE, OUR KIDS ARE GROWN. Now we end up thinking how time passed without realizing it. We often regret that we weren't there for them because we were busy working. 😌😌
This is one of my motivations for pivoting to a remote business.
I can't afford to lose what I earn from my job but I also can't afford to lose special moments with my kids. 30 years at the bedside is already enough for me so I chose to have more flexibility.
👇👇👇
To my fellow working moms out there, I feel you. In this economy, it is difficult to let go of the job we think could provide us with financial stability. But don't let that job hinder you from being with your kids.
Let this be a reminder that we have options. ✨ We just have to know which one fits.

Words can't describe how proud I am of my son Lucien. ✨✨
Cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, epilepsy, autism, and wheelchair user are all the words to describe what he deals with and his challenges.
What words describe the unique and wonderful ordinary life he leads?
👉Star Wars obsessed, joy all day long, chatterbox, musically focused, Dr. Seuss (all books) memorized, speaking his own created language, motivates a room full of healthcare professionals to sing, Christmas every day of the year, singing, playing, laughing, reading books, watching endless YouTube….ya better know all the Disney songs (And every Disney movie ever) to be with Lucien.
And one of the best parts of being his mom is being able to sing show tunes and other songs with him, and hearing him say, "I love you." ❤
As moms, we often just pray for our kids to be happy and healthy. I'm glad I can see how happy and bubbly Lucien is. And I'm really blessed to have the opportunity to spend quality time with him and hear him say these things.

I was one of those nurses who battled the pandemic years ago. It was a tough battle. I can say that it impacted our mental health. The experience is beyond words. 😓😓
When you work in healthcare during those days with insufficient rest, you might ask yourself, "why is this even happening?" But you have no other choice but to toughen up because there are a lot of people needing your help.
Seeing people go from being healthy to fighting for their lives taught me the most important lesson: Our time in this world can end anytime so it's best to spend time with your loved ones and live the life you want to.
To my fellow nurses out there, take time to rest, be with your loved ones, and do the things that spark joy in your life.

After 30 years of nursing, I am so happy to have spent the last two years working for myself. The day I opened my eyes in the morning and knew I was never going to work for another person again, it was glorious. 🎉🎉🎉 I have worked for someone since I was 15 years old, and now, I have the blessing of running my own business from home, allowing me to support my family's growing needs
👉 So if you dread going to work daily because of burnout and too much unnecessary stress. There are other options for you.
👉 Build a side hustle while working so when you finally decide enough is enough, you have a way out.
Trust me, it will all be worth it.

I have been overweight for decades. 😌
👉 It all started after nursing school. The stress of bedside nursing, starving myself then overeating, eating to satisfy emotional upsets, and night shifts all caused major weight gain.
👉 Then I had kids, and one of them was medically fragile with disabilities.
Well…I ate my stress and feelings. 😌Turning to food caused so many health issues. I was on a rollercoaster for years gaining/losing weight over and over again.
✨✨✨✨
I decided enough was enough after calculating that I gained and lost 500 lbs.
So when I left employment,
👉 I focused on my health and wellbeing.
👉 I looked for multiple ways to improve my health since being a successful entrepreneur and leader means SELF-MASTERY. And being addicted to food and holding onto a lot of weight is not self-mastery. That’s SELF-ABUSE.
👉 I looked for the best ways to gain control over my health. I went to therapy to address my overeating and emotional eating. 👉 I had a VSG done in January 2024. I have lost a total of 75lbs doing this.
💡 In March 2024, I received the Transformation Award at the annual awards of the company that I represent. I took their program The Great Discovery International Course and created a personalized breakthrough blueprint to manage my self-mastery as a leader.
Now, after numerous months of self-care and choosing myself, I feel way better than I ever felt before.
The right work-life balance and a stress-free work environment enabled me to improve my health.
✨ I can say that getting out of the bedside and choosing a remote business has been one of the best decisions I've made so far.

It took me 30 years as a nurse to realize…
👉 Nurses are indoctrinated and manipulated into taking on more than they can do safely.
👉 The healthcare systems hire to fire. They use up their nurses with no regard for the human being, their bodies, their mental health, their families.
👉 Corporate Stockholm’s syndrome is real.
👉 Most nurses won’t stay in the profession long enough to pay their loans.
It's not too late to think about yourself and your family.
📌 Comment "CHANGE" if you are already tired of the system and want a change in your career and your life and I will send you a message.
🧐 Picture this: You are a nurse working through busy and stressful shifts. You might have experienced burnout but still can't find enough time to rest and spend with your family. You might think it's hard to pivot to another career because nursing is all you know.
👉 The thing is, as nurses, we can run an online business. We were able to finish nursing school which is even 10x harder. ✨ We have mastered transferable skills and characteristics from our nursing careers.
Next time you doubt yourself if you could excel in a different career, think again. 💡 You are capable! 💪
Instead of second-guessing what you know, look for a mentor that will help you succeed faster.
📌 If you are considering pivoting to another career or exploring side hustles available, comment "SUPPORT" and I will send you a message.
I have wanted to have an online business since I completed nursing school.
I knew that building a side hustle 👩💻 or a business parallel to my employment would be an important asset.
I’ve had many examples in nursing where I was assigned too many patients.
👉 I knew back then that Healthcare and human resources in the health systems I was working in didn’t have my back or care to protect my nursing license. 😌☹️
Because of that, I figured out a way to protect myself so that when I was given another dangerous assignment, I could decline that assignment without worrying financially. If the healthcare system made an example out of me and fired me for my ethics and values, I could still pay all my bills.
✨✨
I like online business because it provides the most flexibility so I can focus on taking care of my family first.
I’ve been working online selling products and now selling digital products since 2007 as a side hustle.
👉 It was only during the pandemic that I decided it was time for me to leave the profession as an employee and become a full-time entrepreneur. That process took me two years.. since February 2022 I have been a full-time entrepreneur.
👉 I found the best online tools to support my entrepreneurial pursuits during that two-year timeframe. 🔥🔥Many people write books to legitimize their program, consulting program, or public speaking. I chose online course creation as my avenue.
After 30 years working at the bedside, I finally found where I belong. A career that can provide both fulfillment and work-life balance.

Working at the bedside for 30 years meant coming home to my family tired and stressed. Pivoting to a remote business gave me changed all of it. 🔥🔥
👉 My online business provided me with the right work-life balance that me and my family need.
Instead of rushing to work every morning, I now spend the mornings having coffee with my husband over meaningful conversations. 👍
👉 Having a remote business not only helped me earn but also enabled me to nurture my relationship with my family... And this is the best blessing that I got.
