It's been a while! It has been a super busy year so far with work and other things. I was lucky enough to go on a girls getaway to Melbourne recently (my first and only international travels of the year), and we also enjoyed a family winter holiday in Queenstown, - our last trip before Little Miss turned two (and we have to start paying for her flights!) ;) She managed to get 20 in which is pretty impressive!

We just got back from an epic family holiday in Bali! It was so great to go back to one of my favourite places, and my wee mini traveller did so well! She loved it just as much as we did. :D ✈️

We've just returned from our first overseas trip in 2.5 years! ✈️😍 We had an amazing 10 nights away in Fiji, and little one did so well! Not only did she go on her first international flight, but a helicopter, speed boat and ferry! 👏 There are sooo many photos to go through so I'll share a few faves in the next post. Aah, so good to travel again, where to next is the question...

Finally, New Zealand's borders have opened for quarantine-free travel and I've booked my first overseas trip in over two years! The best part is, I only have to wait a few weeks, woohoo! ✈️✈️✈️

Having a bit too much fun at the Weta Cave. 🤪 It's one of my number one recommendations for things to do in Wellington (especially for fellow geeks), so I took my visiting family along yesterday for the Weta Workshop tour.

It's such a fantastic insight into the behind the scenes of movie-making magic they've created right here in Wellington. 📽 🎬

Had a lovely long ANZAC weekend exploring the South Island's biggest city, Christchurch! ❤

The Chalice sculpture, located in Cathedral Square, (which my husband called 'the ice cream cone'), was built to celebrate the new millennium and celebrate 150 years of the founding of Christchurch. The second snap is of a passing iconic vintage tram which you can hop on and off on a city tour.

I really enjoyed my time there and would love to come back again soon (it definitely made me itchy for another South Island road trip!). It's charming and quirky, has good food, awesome street art, friendly people and it's a super easy city to navigate. The autumn colours are especially stunning at the moment too! 😍 🍂

I recently surprised my husband with a long-weekend getaway to Dunedin for his birthday! We hired a rental car and had a few fun-filled days exploring the stunning Otago Pen*sular, the gorgeous beaches and wildlife, admired the Edwardian and Victorian architecture around town, hit up some great cafes and we even spent one night staying at New Zealand's only castle!

Always grateful to be able to explore more of my own country.

I've been a bit quiet on here as this year I've been working fulltime as a videographer! I'm also shooting my second wedding in a few weeks so I'm one busy bee. Hope you're all doing well. Happy weekend! :)
