IV Films - 30 Day VFX Challenge: Day 6
IV Films is embarking on a 30 Day VFX Challenge!
The idea is to conceptualize, create, and finalize ONE single VFX shot every single day over the course of a month. Could be a 3D shot, a coloring shot, or a compositing shot, doesn't matter. Just any FINALIZED VFX shot!
Here is DAY 6 - "Space Rock"
This was a test for a fire/smoke simulation, but it took a real long time, so the final shot is only two seconds in duration, but it was still fun!

Here is DAY 2 - "TIE Fighters"
The Goal with this one was to combine 2D footage with 3D assets, and match the lighting/colors without an HDRI. So, I got some stock footage of a sunset, and matched the lighting in the 3D render of the TIE's, then combined 'em!
