5 essential tips for directing your film.
1. Make a shot list and create a storyboard for each scene before you start filming. This will help you visualise the finished product and make the filming process go more smoothly.

2. Set up your shots in advance. Once you know what you want each scene to look like, it'll be much easier to achieve the desired results.

3. Light your scenes carefully. Good lighting can make a big difference in how your film looks and feels.

4. Pay attention to sound. Poor sound quality can ruin an otherwise great film. Be sure to record clean audio and use quality microphones.

5. Edit your film meticulously. This is where you'll really be able to fine-tune the final product and make it the best it can be.

I am proud to announce that I have been asked to direct a shocking and hard hitting documentary in association with FatCat Productions.

This documentary is now in pre-production and is BASED ON ACTUAL BRUTAL EVENTS.

A deeply vivid and powerful narrative documentary, it will unpack the events which are experienced by an Indian family during the 1970’s, in East London: at a time when merciless racists roam the streets.

Canning Town is the epicentre for the battle between the English National Front and foreign immigrants. Ruthless attacks on ethnic minorities, executed by the NF, are frequent and devastating.

Racist ideologies, are imprinted on many, which spill out to create widespread prejudice.

In the middle of all this carnage is a young Indian boy, Jag Singh and his family. In order to survive this era, Jag and his innocent family have no other option, and are forced to become...UNBREAKABLE!

I’m pleased to announce that filming begins next week, in conjunction with FatCat Productions , on my next fully featured documentary called EDDY – MY UNIVERSE.

The documentary charts the life of Eddy Ellwood , the 5x Mr Universe Bodybuilding Champion.

A British world champion bodybuilder and professional Strongman competitor, Eddy is also a 4-time winner of the England's Strongest Man title, including the IFSA version.

With his early years being spent in the boxing ring, this stood him in good stead for the initial road he took into the dark world of enforcement.

Due for release in the first quarter of 2022, this is going to be a documentary not to be missed.

I'm pleased to announce that I will be working in conjunction with FatCat Productions on a short documentary on the colourful life of some of Hartlepool's most notorious fighting men of their time.

Thanks for making me welcome in the Ship Inn and for the coffee when I turned up to location scout this evening Michael Sorby, Alan Hay snr (Algie) and Alan Hay Jnr. 👌

Filming begins on Saturday the 25th September with the guys above, and Philly Tobin, and the documentary will be out at the end of October / early November.
Expect some eyebrow raising stories of the past from these 4 bad boys.
