𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐬!

The brightest stars of Agusan del Sur National Science High School has once again shone its dazzling light among the cream of the crop as it braved through 120 competitors in the whole CARAGA region, securing the spot to compete in the National Schools Press Conference. With its overpowering supremacy in the recently concluded regional level of the conference, it's almost as if destiny had already paved its way to the top.

𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙜! went The Supernova who proved its relentless dedication to fearlessly voice out the truth, not regarding the threats of opposition, but only prioritizing the good of the people. Its unveiled expertise in incorporating both quality and authenticity in student journalism held its charm in achieving its booming success.

Indeed, with extraordinary stars come extraordinary triumphs. The Supernova have shown seamless professionalism and excellence in portraying how journalism, even in the minds of youngsters, can effectively call out attention to heed the essence of spotless information. Unbiased, Unveiled, and Unstained.

Heartfelt gratitude is extended to the ever-supportive school principal, Ma'am Jine L. Havana, for her unwavering encouragement and steadfast belief in the campus journalists' potential. Deep appreciation is also given to the School Paper Adviser, Ma'am Glady U. Diasnes, and the Assistant School Paper Adviser, Ma'am Jean F. Luca, for their tireless dedication, insightful guidance, and relentless support that have inspired and driven the students to excel.

Additionally, sincere appreciation goes to all the stakeholders whose invaluable contributions and unwavering support have played a pivotal role in the young journalists' success. Their commitment and involvement have provided the resources and motivation needed to reach new heights.

A bed of roses is never without its thorns.

This year's Division Schools Press Conference has proved to be a pyrrhic challenge to the young student journalists of Agusan Del Sur National Science High School.

Nonetheless, they stood as Davids among Goliaths.

Who could've thought that one of the smallest schools in the division could go toe-to-toe with the big boys of the province?

The qualified champions of ASNSHS, comprised of green first-timers, have showed resiliency against intimidating odds.

Though battered, beaten, and bruised, in mind and spirit, the aspiring journalists of Science High continue to move forward, eager to face the challenges that comes next to become worthy of being the seekers for truth.

Kudos to all student journalists of Agusan Del Sur National Science High School! May their journey to become the torches of truth for the people and press be trimphant!

OVERALL CHAMPION: Agusan del Sur National Science High School 🏆

The victorious cheers and cries of joy of the young and proud students of ASNSHS resonate throughout the covered-court venue of the Municipal Schools Press Conference as they bring home the tittle of overall champions.

Surviving those sleepless nights and rigorous training with no sign of stalling, now they stand on the stage, receiving the spotlight of everyone's gaze, signifying the fruits of their sacrifices.

Throughout those hardships and ordeals, they found themselves still standing and smiling - proof of their resiliency. They are truly worthy of being hailed as Prosperidad's Best!

However, this is just the first step in the journey of their success and glory. They will still continue to learn and improve, to widen their horizon, to grope new knowledge despite being concluded as the best among the rest.

Now, the train of victory continues to move forward for the aspiring student-journalists of ASNSHS, along with their equally amazing teachers and coaches.

WALANG PASOK: ASNSHS extends suspension of in-person classes

In consonance with the school's contingency plan on the recent 7.4 magnitude offshore earthquake that struck Surigao del Sur on December 02, 2023, All lectures in all grade levels within this week shall be shifted to online remote learning through synchronous, and asynchronous modality.

Hence, In-person lectures are now expected to resume on December 11, 2023, unless another issuance will be issued otherwise.

We advise everyone to remain vigilant and follow the official government directives to avoid potential harm. The school publication also urge students to refrain from spreading false, unverified information, and other forms of disinformation.

Due to the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that struck the island of Mindanao yesterday, and the continuous occurrence of aftershocks, the ASNSHS-DRRM Committee will be conducting a thorough building inspection and clearing activities to ensure safe and secure buildings for in-person classes.

Thus, All classes on December 04, 2023 will be shifted to remote learning through asynchronous modality.

In-person classes are expected to resume on December 05, 2023, unless another issuance will be issued otherwise.
