Leeds-based DIY record label 60 second recordings proudly presents its debut release – Volume 1: I Found Myself Mirrored In Autumn – in November 2016. In a time of being bombarded with information from all sides at all hours of the day, it’s fair to say that attention spans may well be getting shorter. And while there’s certainly still a place for long albums, we’d like to propose an alternative.

The concept is simple – ten songs in ten minutes. Brand new work from ten different Yorkshire acts to brighten your tea break. The record covers a fair amount of ground in its short running time, from the a ca****la folk stylings of Emma Gatherer to the fuzzed-out power-pop of Navilight. Wakefield pop supremo Ric Neale even manages to fit a key change into his allotted minute. Take a minute (or indeed ten) to have a listen.
