Lenny Kravitz's new album fully represents the mood of the current Kravitz.
The sound reflects the contaminations that Lenny has always drawn on, so it is a timeline that continues, joining previous albums.
The album sounds good, everything is in order and one listens to it with pleasure.
Soul, rock, rhythm and blues are skilfully mixed, Lenny draws from the past and blends it all into a more current form.
Although this album does not add anything new to his playlist of hits Kravitz remains a great artist, much to the detractors' chagrin.
And let's face it, he wears his newly turned 60 years divinely.
