Such good times this weekend at the BizKids Disco Dog Walk in Cornwall, only managed to take a few photos and missed the bloody dolphins swimming up the estuary in the morning (yep) more winging it by KNTY & Jack pays off. Great sets all round by the DJs, amazing location.

Hard to believe these photos were taken 32 years ago.

July 26th, 1991. Dreamscape, Royal Bath & West Show Ground.

I believe this was the South Wests first legal all-night event, running til 6am. One set of decks, a mixer, two rigs over two floors, flower strobes, smoke machines and a truly amazing laser system, operated by the crew that worked with Jean-Michel Jarre.

The event sold out, 1,800 people attended. There were no mobile phones. Cameras were rare.

I'm sharing some photos taken at the event, mostly black and white shots but a few never seen before high res colour images that picked up some of what the lasers were doing (no mean feat). I hope these photos show a respectful insight into that night, each image captures a moment in time and socially documents the early days of the UK rave scene.

Rest in peace Jefferson Vandike (Apache). A true diamond and stalwart of the Plymouth & South West dance music scene. God speed, you will be greatly missed by all of us who had the pleasure to know you, partied alongside you and shared your love of music.
