Lounge Conjunction conjoured up two sublime deep house cuts for Airtight 20 years ago with ‘Give' and 'Nansei Syoto (Sunset Mix)'. A side cut, 'Give', is a smooth four to the floor number complete with reversed chords, tight beats and warm, warm bass while B side cut, 'Nansei Syoto' marries a broken beat with cool, tinkly, summery vibes before giving way to a four four rhythm late on in the track.

Snorkel’s ‘As The Dust Settles’ hits the 15 year mark on it’s original release with the opening track featuring an extended 8mins of organic hypno-funk that could have come straightoutta Dusseldorf in 74’, with mantra chants, tape effects and loose rhythms swirling around the raw groove to create something fit for headphones and more adventurous dancefloors alike. On the flipside, Italian space commandoes the Diaphanoids take to the controls and conjure up a slo-mo disco-kosmiche chugger, complete with laser driven riffs and a fat, chugging bassline. Definitely one for the heads, but as the tempos slow down and the genre boundaries continue to blur, there's something here for disco freaks, kosmic kommandoes and Kraut heads alike.
