It’s always a good time match racing with your friends! Our time at Darlington has come to an end. The weather was perfect and the track was tight. Here’s some video thanks to Heatseeker Racing of our first pass. We went 6.04 at 239mph straight and true! We put a couple degrees of timing in it to hop her up a little but wasn’t quite enough, we shook through the middle on our second run and had to abort the pass, the center line was getting close! All in all, a good weekend of burning nitro. Thank you to our sponsors and all those that helped along the way!

We had her hopped up! Final round against our good buddy Kurt Duckworth last year at Budd’s Creek for the Bunny & Bear race. Left like a raped ape but knocked the tires off.
Three runs in the 6.0’s in some gnarly conditions and nothing hurt, we’re happy with our performance! Onto Edgewater Sports Park for NITRO CHAOS in a few days for some 1/8 mile action.

We had a good test session at Darlington Dragway this weekend in prep for the NHRA Wally Parks Nostalgia Nationals next weekend! Felt good to finally be back at the track. Our slight adjustments and upgrades over the winter performed well. See you at Bowling Green!

Cool little video from Keystone Friday Night. Thanks Brad
US131’s Funny Car Nationals was a great event. Some top tier race cars graced the property and spectators were abundant!
The weather was very pleasant, even chilly at times! Something we’re not accustomed to at all, with the jungle like conditions we usually race in. That being said, we made sure to not have it too “hopped up” for our first round against Dan Hix in his badass Heatseeker. We ran a nice and easy 6.04 at 229mph and got around Dan as he was on and off the throttle in the other lane.
As the sun and temperatures went down, we readied for our second round run against our pal Kurt Duckworth. A slight adjustment with nitro percentage prevailed to be the right move, as we ran a 5.95 at 230mph for the win! We ended up on a single as Kurt had trouble with getting the car in reverse.
A great weekend overall for our first time at US131. It was a pleasure racing at such a top notch facility that we hope to be back at in the future.
Thank you to our sponsors for helping us out with the things we need to make all this happen!

Have you ever wondered what its like driving a AA/FA? Take a 5 second ride with me into the South Carolina Darkness.
We’ve made it home from our time at Darlington Dragway’s Night Under Fire presented by Earth Shaking Entertainment.
The weather was hot and humid, right on par for South Carolina in the dead of summer. After making some slight changes in the tune up, we went out and ran a 6.09 at only 209mph on our first run. The car got a little loose early in the run, which resulted in a quick pedal job and then lifting and throwing the chutes at 1000 ft.
We were happy with our numbers, but the humidity rose as the night went on. Another small adjustment was made to prepare for the bad conditions and sticky race track. The video you see is from this run, a thundering 5.92 at 231mph! How about those flames?
This makes three wins in a row for us and we’re only halfway through our season. Next up is the Burnouts for Bunny and Bear event at MIR in a few weeks, where we’ll be looking to take home the trophy.
Our crew performed flawlessly as always. Lee Ludolph, Macey Ludolph, Will Ramos, Matt Sievers are rock stars. It was great to see friends Mark Sievers and Mark Emery.
Huge thank you to our sponsors for helping this dream of ours take place. CP-Carrillo C&M Powdercoat Bruiser Brand Apparel SCE Gaskets CleanBoost Ohio Crankshaft
Here’s our 5.92 at 245mph blast to reset our track record at MIR! We are the first Fuel Altered to ever run a 5 second pass there and it felt great to do it right off the trailer.
There was a weird tree malfunction, so you’ll notice a delayed leave. On our second run, we encountered some tire shake and pedaled to a winning 6.34 at 198mph. Overall, we had a great time racing along side our buddy Neal Hinman in the Bad Habit.
MIR is a special place for us with deep rooted history both with our family racing and in general. We look forward to do it again in just a couple weeks alongside Neal back home in SC at Darlington’s Night of Fire!
As always, our crew was superb. We got the car turned around between rounds with a shortened “turn around time” with no sweat. It helps to make it more fun when the team works like a well oiled machine. Thank you to our sponsors for allowing us to keep the car out there.

Lastly, to all our fans that came out. We couldn’t do it without you, thank you!
