We are going backwards:
attempted to pass the Right to Contraception Act, a bill I authored with Lisa Subeck.

Every single WI Senate Republican voted against moving this proposal forward. They had an opportunity to show Wisconsinites they weren't extremists like their national counterparts, but they chose to double down on their anti-choice, anti-woman, and anti-freedom position.

There are so few speaking out against trumpism &

Project2025 that we have to consider the entire Party to be

complicit. From top to bottom.

voters seem to think words like "fascist" & "socialist" are names you call people you don't like.

But... Words have real meanings.

call "fascists" for specific reasons.
Republicans - leaders & followers:

View political opponents as "enemies"

Want to dominate every aspect of government

Are willing to lie, steal, cheat to do it

The GOP openly oppose democracy. In fact have been telling their voters that the US is a "republic" & not a "democracy." Nonsense. But, they believe it.

Your local much beloved Repubicans that you may share religion, anti-choice, and other views with are part of the Insurrection.
Part of the slow-rolling coup.
Part of gerrymandering.
Part of homophobic attacks, racism, sexism...

Republican voters will live to regret their decisions.
Many will claim that the really "didn't know" or "didn't understand."

They did.

I am so sorry for everyone who has fallen prey to the lies & manipulation from the far right. I wish that I could help you.

My heart goes out to those whose relatives have fallen prey to authoritarian rhetoric.

It is a tragedy that "the far right" is now the "mainstream Republican."

I have not found any prominent Wisconsin Republicans who will denounce the:
>Election lies, fraudulent electors, those who pressured Pence, the insurrectionists, and the voting suppression which is on-going.
>SARS-CoV-1 lies that killed so many people.

Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-WI) told the teenagers to “get the f**k out” of the rotunda… The source described Van Orden’s demeanor as “physically aggressive” toward the pages, NBC News reports.

The lawmaker was “screaming inches from the pages’ faces” and “shooed” at them with his hands several times, said the source, who described previously unreported details of Van Orden’s behavior.

The pages, who were 16 and 17 years old, were “visibly shaken,” according to the source.
