I try to create an informed music based talk show.

Something that I would like to be able to listen to while relaxing, driving, or even at work. A program that doesn’t talk down to the audience, treats the artist/guest as a friend, and above all, is prepared for a conversation and not just small talk. I just try to do it in a relaxed conversational manner. And of course, Up Close And Acoustic must incorporate live music performance into the conver

sation. The show is performance/interview formatted after all. The program is always striving to be informative, entertaining, and a fun time for all involved. Myself included. When everything comes together, I do reach the point where I can say to myself as the host, ‘yes, I would enjoy listening to that’. I hope that is or will be your reaction to the program as well.
