Elon, please bring back accessibility team on Twitter

SAMUEL SANDOVAL: Hello, everyone! You may have heard what's been going on the past 2 weeks with Twitter. That's the sign we use for Twitter.
On October 26th, Elon Musk, owner of Tesla, which manufactures electric vehicles, and SpaceX, which manufactures rockets, is now part-owner of Twitter, which he purchased for $44 billion. He is now CEO of Twitter.
So what's the problem? His first day working, he fired pretty much half the teams at Twitter. Most crucially, he fired both the Human Rights team and the Accessibility Experience team.
There is an article on TechCrunch which mentions that Elon Musk fired the accessibility experience team. The team's goal was to improve Twitter for people with disabilities. Their key improvements included… Image descriptions on Twitter posts, which allows users to type in descriptions of their image posts. The team also added ALT tags. They planned to improve keyboard shortcuts and closed captioning toggles. There were many other achievements and plans. The Accessibility Team said they had many new features ready to launch, but unfortunately, Elon Musk has cut the team.
You may have noticed that two well-known organizations, RID and NAD, have announced on their Twitter pages that they will no longer be posting on Twitter because the Accessibility Team has been let go. RID and NAD wish to see the team brought back.
Where do I see myself standing? I agree and am in total support of their decision. I believe the Twitter app must be fully accessible. What I think we should do is this: If you are on Twitter, you can post: "Hey, Elon Musk! We want our Accessibility Team back!" It is that clear. I think the more of us that post this, the sooner Musk will realize he must bring the team back on board. I do not think it is fair that accessibility be cast aside when Microsoft, Amazon, and Apple all heavily support accessibility. I think it is wrong that Twitter dropped their accessibility team. I think we might need you
