His exploration into the spiritual realm took root in his 30s, following a significant life change—his divorce and subsequent move into his own flat. Despite having a medium and spiritualist for a mother, Colin was not exposed to any spiritualist concepts or ideas during his upbringing. This allowed him to grow and develop his spiritual path without preconceived notions, making his journey uniquely authentic.

Colin's first step into the spiritual world was through a meditation group, which he attended at the invitation of a friend. With no prior knowledge of meditation, he decided to give it a try, and what started as a curious exploration turned into a six-year commitment. A pivotal period in Colin's spiritual journey was his four-year involvement with the Crow Tribe of Native Americans.
