Spend time exchanging emotions with colleagues, sharing your impressions of the holidays - this will help make the process of getting out of the festive rhythm more enjoyable, and your productivity will only increase!

✔️Sleep and sports

After vacation, it is important to return not only to your work routine. Don't forget about sports and sleeping. Healthy rest and physical activity are never useless!

✔️Think about your next vacation

The most unpleasant thing after the vacation is to plunge into the routine and remember about fatigue. Letting yourself dream about next weekend will motivate you to work harder.

Rest is good! You should give yourself time to relax and New Year's holidays are great for this!

Who are game designers and how they create things we love?

The need for specialists that create games and game content will only increase in the future – game design is a very promising specialty.

People usually understand game design as either only programming or game art. In reality, game design is neither one thing nor the other. Any computer game begins with the idea and construction of the game world - this is exactly what game designers do. They think about the rules the game and its characters will work & live by. GD creates not only the structure of the game, but also decides what emotions the player should experience at each stage. This role is very similar to that of a filmmaker in terms of meaning.

The game designer constructs the basic dynamics of the game, which are responsible for the overall player perception of the game. The dynamics are based on the core game mechanics – the way objects interact with the player and the game environment.

Game design is a profession with strong practical skills, which can be developed via direct participation in game development. However, a beginner will still need to master a significant theoretical base and become familiar with basic work approaches and professional tools.

Main responsibilities:
- Game concept development - the main document where all the game proposals and ideas are stored;
- Searching for characters and game environment references;
- Design of basic game mechanics;
- Game balance design;
- Planning the gameplay flow throughout the game process;
- Creating game design documents;
- Implementing game concept corrections during the development stage;
- Coordination of all the specialists related to the project;
- Creating & optimizing game monetization aspects.
