Now, it's onto the next stage of the competition, where it could potentially become a Finalist and be screened in Rome later this summer.

Some great news to start our weekend. Our Music Video, 'Mary' has been Officially Selected at the 15th Underground Cinema Film Festival.

The online screenings will take place at the end of May and their in-person awards presentation will be held in Dun Laoghaire in November. A big thank you to all of the jury at the Festival!

Bill Barich Joins John R. Perrotta as Guest Judge for Short Screenplay Competition.

We are thrilled to announce that accomplished American writer Bill Barich will be joining the festival as a guest judge for the 17th Waterford International Film Festival's short script competition, alongside respected writer John R. Perrotta.

Bill Barich is the author of a dozen books, including two about Ireland: "A Pint of Plain" and "A Fine Place to Daydream." He has written for The New Yorker and worked as a scriptwriter for "NYPD Blue" (ABC-TV) and "Luck" (HBO). He currently resides in Dublin.

“We are absolutely delighted and thankful that Bill will be joining John as guest judges for this year's short script competition and we look forward to receiving their valuable insights,” said Festival Director, Stephen Byrne.

John R. Perrotta, a respected writer and contributor to HBO's "Luck," is also part of the festival's judging panel for the script contest. His notable works include books such as "RACETRACKER...life with Grifters and Gamblers" and "IF WISHES WERE HORSES.

The Waterford International Film Festival is a celebration of filmmakers and artists from around the world. This year's festival will feature in-person events from November 24th to 26th at the House of Waterford Crystal. The online version of the festival will run from November 20th to 26th and will be hosted by filmocracy.com.

As the festival showcases talent from across the globe, both local residents and visiting guests will be treated to an immersive experience surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Waterford Crystal's masterpieces.

Former HBO Writer and Respected Screenwriter John R. Perrotta to attend 17th Waterford International Film Festival as Special Guest and Short Script Competition Judge.

The festival proudly announces that John R. Perrotta will join the event as a special guest, engaging with filmmakers and writers during social networking meet-ups, and serving as a guest judge for the festival's short script-writing competition.
John R. Perrotta boasts an illustrious career as a member of the Writer's Guild of America, West (WGA, W.) and a key contributor to HBO's groundbreaking series "LUCK."

This acclaimed show, starring luminaries such as Dustin Hoffman, Nick Nolte, Dennis Farina, and Irish Oscar-nominated actress, Kerry Condon premiered on HBO in January 2012, captivating audiences with its compelling storytelling and brilliant performances.
