We're a team of two creators born in Canada and living abroad as digital nomads for the last several years. We created Maple Searup as a word play on a Canadian staple combined with our love for two things: the sea and Southeast Asia. We specialize in creating multimedia content and online portfolios for a variety of businesses. On our media channels, you can expect to see loads of travel content,

professional real estate videos, and hotel & tourism promos. Our newest venture is a YouTube show that will focus on the personal side of our lives; who we are and what we think; our insight and advice; as well as some fun and interesting specials about a variety of topics. Our Story

As Canadians, Maple Syrup will always run deep through our veins. Canada will always be our first and forever home. It is where we were raised, it represents the values we hold, and it's where our story together first started. Thus, our business name had to reflect that perpetual love we hold for our Great White North.

Southeast Asia. Where we were awakened and found ourselves again. The Sea. Where we feel completely nourished - body, mind, and soul. Both of these SEAs have sparked our curiosity, helped us grow, and ignited our passion for a life enriched with creativity and exploration.

OUR STORY

Our story starts more than twelve years ago. We met while attending University, became close friends, and fell deeply in love. Thus, our lives started rather quickly. After finishing schooling, we headed into the working world and bought our first property in the city. Within a few years, we moved up the ladder in our jobs, traded in our car, and even upgraded our condo. We were perfectly wrapped up in the materialistic and monopolized version of success. Yet, we both felt empty. In all that we attained, we knew that we were missing the point of life. By 2012, we realized that we had put travel pretty low on our priority list, so we began investing in experiences. We vacationed in the Caribbean, flew to Europe, and road tripped in North America when work would allow. That's when all of our "plans" started to crumble. It was then that we were introduced to an alternative. We started researching couples who had "traded it all in" for a nomadic lifestyle. With every story and every success, a new way of living inspired us to make a change. With the real-estate market flourishing in Toronto, we decided to sell our home, store most of our belongings, and embark on a trip to see if we could find what had been missing.
