I've been really looking forward to this release for a while now. The bass lines on this album are sick! Too bad it's the first and last full length for the duo since they announced Ava Gore's (daughter of Depeche Mode's Martin Gore) departure from the band earlier this month. It will be interesting to see where they each go in their future creative endeavors.

It's always such a delight when artists still reach out and remember me from my early club years. I was excited to find that the new album from legendary UK band, ATTRITION hit my inbox yesterday! I met Martin Bowes way back in 2008 when I was attending a three day music event in New Haven called the Blacksun Festival. I had just checked in at my hotel and I found that I was sharing an elevator with him! Caught completely off guard, I sheepishly introduced myself and he went on to perform a captivating set that evening! Here's a couple throwback pics and a link to his music in the comments. So, upon popular demand, I've put together a mix of music inspired from when I had my industrial/goth club night at Valentines. There's something old and something new....but f**k something borrowed or blue since I don't like to be confined to limited genres or silly traditions. You can hear my 90's rave influences, 80's new wavers bringing great new melodies to the masses, and some classic industrial and synthpop that would be blasphemy to not include as a huge inspiration for me over the years.
