Yin Yang Recordz 215 is an independent label producing and providing r&b/soul, pop-hip hop, gospel, dance, and contemporary jazz music for a global audience. Yin Yang Recordz 215 progressive approach to music is noted and recognized in their artists’ music selections. Crawford is President and CEO of Yin Yang Records 215. As an attorney licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, she has long embraced the title “A Philadelphia Lawyer”. She served as counsel for the defunct “Black Music Association” which was founded in Philadelphia by Ed Wright and Kenny Gamble in 1979. She has been executive producer for a number of artists and served as consultant to Warner Brothers Records and Mercury Records for “specialty marketing projects”, including Vanessa Williams, Jon Bon Jovi and Men Out Loud. In 2008 she and Harry Brooks, aka Harry-O formed Brooks & Crawford Management. Together they researched talent and decided it was time to invest more of their energy into the talent they located. This additional research of the music industry motivated both Vivienne Crawford and Harry-O to start Yin Yang Records 215. Harry-O has been in the music business most of his life. He started as a musician playing the saxophone in his younger years. Harry was attracted to the business side of the music and then began his career as a National Promotional Representative for Philly World Records and worked on the Instant Funk project and directed that field campaign. In 1980, he started his own company, Harry-O Productions. Harry-O Productions managed and produced recording artists in the USA and in the UK. The late Frank Alstin, songwriter, musician, producer, and vocalist with whom Harry-O co-wrote several hit songs not to mention winning national acclaim for these creative works. Harry-O Productions handled Tommy Johnson’s career who won the “Budweiser Showdown” and a Capitol Records recording contract. Harry-O also represented the groups Buddah Ratt and Benzman. Harry-O teamed up with Vivienne Crawford to continue to make a difference in the music industry by forming Yin Yang Recordz 215.
