Only in Australia! 😃
10 Cane toads were seen riding on the back of a Python after a storm in Kununurra, Western Australia.

This bizarre scene was witnessed and captured on video by Paul Mock from Kununurra, after a bad thunderstorm had hit the property he shares with his wife, bringing down almost 70 mm of rain within an hour. The lake had overflowed and filled the cane toad burrows around the bank and thousands of them were seen sitting on top of the grass. The resident python, a 3.5m snake called Monty, was spotted escaping the flood with a group of Cane toads using him as transportation. "He was literally moving across the grass at full speed with the frogs hanging on," mentioned Paul.
However, an alternative explanation to the viral photo came from Jodi Rowley, an amphibian expert and a senior lecturer in biological sciences at the University of New South Wales. She stated that the toads were all male cane toads, trying to mate with the python, as they often tend to get "a bit carried away".
