Rare case of Clandestine Blaze appearing in glossy mainstream metal magazine. Band photo and some replies were too much to publish, but the little there is left, was published in Inferno magazine couple issues ago. Now available online (in Finnish only).
CB has given vastly longer interviews during 2023, but most of them not yet published.

Many complaints of older albums being difficult to find. 2024 should start CB album CD repressings to make most of them available again.

NH is shipping orders until dec 21, and then closed couple weeks and return early January.

Clandestine Blaze “Resacralize The Unknown” LP/CD

For weeks each day NH is being asked is there new Clandestine Blaze album out? Yes it is. If looking for past discography of CB, the pace of band has been same since beginning.

Since late 90's, new album has emerged most often every two years. It has never been intentional, but simply how band has worked. No plan to create new album, but after certain duration of time, ideas has cumulated and urge to document it happens.

It has always been most of all personal pursuit with minimal participation to global metal culture. CB rarely plays live. Rarely gives interviews. Does not take part in streaming services and is rarely carried by bigger "mainstream" dealers. CB mostly manifests itself via physical releases that are distributed via underground network.

Each album usually offers couple steps forward, but often also step backwards. "Resacralize the unknown" has hints from older more straight forward CB sound and at the same time offers new types of songs and slightly different ways of playing.

Visually each album has looked different. New album is no exception. Lyrics expand the former themes and ideas and bring something new.

The 12th full length album of Clandestine Blaze returns with sharper, tighter, faster and less echoing sound than “Secrets Of Laceration”. Always something new, but also some of the songs return into more straight forward style of older CB. LP and CD out now and found from nhfastore and various distributors.

Most of older CB albums are out of stock. Currently available vinyl pressings are almost sold out. No plan for represses of LP's anytime soon. Some of the older albums should be repressed on CD during 2023.

NECROPOLE “Yoga” LP

CD came some months ago and proved the strength of Necropole staying as high as always! Personal approach to sound, melodies, coposition and lyrics and so on. Northern Heritage has signed only couple bands outside Finland. Those that have been, are simply on level they could not be ignored.

Currently all Necropole former albums are out of stock. Yoga CD first press some copies remain, but also this LP edition even being released just now, is running low in stock!

First demo of Noenum came out in 2002. 10" ep, split and eventually Northern Heritage collacting all the past material as self titled CD in 2019.

Return of Noenum was there, but like usual, Northern Heritage is not here to hype things up online and discuss the plans. Often it is the actual physical release that marks the moment when albums are out and public information. Information tends to be found at label website or related store.

There has been a lot of talk how Black Metal has become soft and nice. Two Finnish bands have fairly recently given interviews to Swallowed In Black website. Very different from each other, presenting different approaches. Both bands have very little presence in "scene" or "media", so rare opportunity to read about them.

Numinous "s/t" CD (remastered 2nd press) and "Bellum In Terris" LP/CD (including new ep+2003 demo) is available.

Diaboli latest CD is published by DTB but available also from NH mailorder. Older Diaboli albums pressings are running low, but at this moment several albums are available. In near future official logo patch will be available via NH.

There has been transport strike in Finland, but it is over now and shipping items should normalize very soon.

NH is currently preparing bunch of 2023 vinyl and CD releases. News will follow sometime later.

At NH headquarters paper zines are preferred. Couple new recommended Finnish zine's would be HARROWING TINES #1 and SINISTROUS WAVES #1. Both in A4 zine, HT with 64 pages, SW with 100. Neither exclusively Black Metal, but big part of content is Black Metal. Copies of all issues three of Death And The Sun are still available. Check zine section at webstore.

Several people contacted after placing order to adjust their orders as they didn't realize Stabat Mater LP is also out. NH may be notorious for not doing much promotion or giving details where to buy things.

Album will be soon available from various distributions around Europe and overseas. There is no digital distribution for this title (you can find it at YouTube).

All items can be bought directly from nh store. Patches and shirts (Last couple, no reprint coming) are available only from NH.

Repress of old Stabat Mater s/t CD, some copies remain. "Give Them Pain" CD is sold out and unlikely to be repressed anytime soon.

Out now long awaited LP version on Helwetti full length! Faithful to the original ideas and spirit of this album (music recorded already 20 years ago), in tradition of those times, vinyl includes bonus track and one limited press on Illuminating Void!

Addition to LP version of s/t, there is out now Helwetti demo compilation on NH! 40 minutes of fierce, dissonant, utterly raw Finnish Black Metal. Demo 98, original version of the demo 99 (not the moderately cleaned up French mastered demo) and formerly unheard ep from 2000, that was never published. EP followed the utterly uncool and dark sound of second demo, which made it at the time too much for label to put it out on 7".

Despite Northern Heritage have not published Helwetti before this demo collection, band was already featured on Northern Heritage zine #2 along with bands who most were signed on the label. Interview displays Black Metal in style we rarely see anymore.

It has been a while since Northern Heritage signed new names on label. APOGEION was simply too good to pass to other labels. Many people may connect Northern Heritage to certain type of aesthetic or sound, while roster is actually quite diverse. It is all Black Metal, but Apogeion fits closer to Ride For Revenge, Stabat Mater, Incriminated and such, while sounding nothing like mentioned names. CB reprints

People have asked when CB hoodies are back in stock. Some copies available now! Represses of CB cd's will be happening little by little. Next one is repress of "Tranquility of Death" CD, but also older material will be coming.

There has been lots of mail-order updates recently, but new BM zines are not coming in such pace as they used to. Now new interesting 'zine that has been scarcely available anywhere, can be bought from NH mail-order! Death and the Sun, all three issues. Each issue c. 60 pages and packed with lots of interviews.

Test pressings for some new NH stuff is on their way. News will follow later summer/autumn.

Very often people asked for repressings of W A L K N U T album. Reply always was that it was up to band to do it or find a label. NH would not be involved. Some may have noticed curious information surrounding this album, but it is unnecessary to comment any further. Eternity Rec CD pressing is now available in mailorder for those who want to get physical copy of this great atmospheric BM album!

Also ongoing process to activate 2nd hand items sections. Bunch of cd, vinyl and tapes have been added. Some rarities, some obscurities, some cheap, some more pricey. You can find the 2nd hand sections as sub-category of each format. More will be added little by little.

Recommended to check K V L T (Helsinki) and of course support the Steelfest.

NH mail-order will have some delays during the summer. Especially June. Orders can be placed and they are shipped asap.
