Today is the day! The biggest Italian American event of the year is finally here: NIAF’s 47th Anniversary Gala in Washington D.C.

After a day of seminars on Italy’s endless contributions to the contemporary world at our NIAF Forum, the celebration of our Italian heritage and the important ties between the U.S. and Italy will begin! Our sold-out event is excited to honor the beautiful region of Tuscany, Chef & Emmy award-winning television personality Giada De Laurentiis, the 70th U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Congressman Bill Pascrell from the state of New Jersey, Automotive designer Jason Castriota, Chief Operating Officer for the International division of Walgreens Boots Alliance Ornella Barra, and Paolo Scaroni Chairman of AC Milan.

The evening will be hosted by Maria Bartiromo and Joe Piscopo with Chris Macchio singing our Italian and American national anthems, and a special performance by the Bandierai degli Uffizi, the official flag-throwers of Firenze and of historical Florentine football (Calcio Storico). Our Gala guests will also be treated to a full Tuscan-inspired menu curated by Giada De Laurentiis.

Stay tuned to our Instagram and Facebook stories for live updates all day! We look forward to sharing this memorable evening with you. If you were unable to attend this year’s gala, save the date for NIAF’s 48th Anniversary Gala in Washington D.C.: October 14th, 2023!
