🚫 Divorce wasn’t just frowned upon where I came from…it was taboo.

For the longest time, I felt trapped. I had built a life that looked successful on the outside with a six-figure career, stability, and everything society told me I should want. But behind closed doors, I was suffocating.

Leaving wasn’t easy. I wasn’t just walking away from a marriage. I was walking into the unknown, with nothing but my belief that I deserved better and a responsibility to give my son a healthier environment.

And so, I chose myself. I chose to break free.

✨ But starting over was terrifying.

I left my high-paying job to be there for my son. I had no backup plan, no guarantees but just a determination to figure it out.

What I didn’t realize at the time was that my journey wasn’t just about survival. It was about discovery.

I looked at the skills I had honed in my corporate career, designing impactful presentations, creating compelling visual narratives, and branding internal programs. I had spent years contributing my skills and working on building businesses for others. But I had never stopped to ask myself: What if I built something for me?

That question changed everything.

I got certified, refined my skills, and took a leap of faith into entrepreneurship. The same confidence that helped me walk away from a life that no longer served me helped me build a brand that felt truly aligned and allowed me to stand out, create impact, and attract premium clients.

I am an A.N.O.M.A.L.Y.

Since my growing years I knew that I could not fit in. I had unsual body hair and facial hair for which I was bullied, not loved, not accepted, and not included in the good looking crowd amongst peers!

I was made to realise that this is not normal, my body weight, my body hair, my facial hair, even the hormonal imbalance called PCOD within, none of it was normal. I was an unwanted misfit in the world of flat stomach, model-like bodies. The more I tried to fit in, the more I lost my own identity. The more I tried to become a part of the girl gang that all the boys desired, the more I lost my own self worth.

I became a people pleaser, begging for attention from the ones I cared for. Allowing them to laugh on me, ignoring the hurt it caused, all in the name of friendship, love and maintaining relationships.

But today, I know that I am an anomaly. I don’t fit in. I do things which are taboo, which are unheard, unusual, or talked about only in whispers because our society cannot and will not accept them as part of their normal culture.

But I know there are so many of us out there who found the courage within our own self to break away from these barriers and listen to what our heart truly desires and live a happy life! A life that is full of love, and compassion towards our own mental and physical health. No hate, no shame, no regrets and zero f@k$ given!

And always remind yourself to be proud of the way you are..
