Our felicitations to House Of Harm as their sophomore, much-anticipated album 'Playground' is officially out worldwide today!

The new record builds and expands upon the three-piece’s enthralling shadow-pop sound, a mix of midnight atmospherics, 90s era jangle pop, and contagious synth drenched hooks that further elevate the transcendent vocals of lead singer.

The journey of their new album saw the band painstakingly narrowing the record down to an efficient 10 tracks that they felt made the most sense, both standing on their own as well as fitting into an LP that built a cohesive world for the listener to get lost in.

Here's to one of the best albums of the year! Can we say it?

The much deserved second press of DELUXXE fenomenal debut MLP 'If You Were Me' is finally here.

With the OG edition selling out in literally a few days after its release date, this was definitely due and we're glad to feed you with 400 more on white vinyl this time.

In case you missed out on this back in September, it suffices to say that this is what happens when skinheads and harcore kids approach postpunk and coldwave with focus, expertise and passion: nothing but a nice little masterpiece.

Happy release day to SKEMER for their new mammoth album 'Toasts & Sentiments' leaves the nest today!

It may have taken four years for the Belgian unit to present their new creation but the time was needed to let all sides of their personality grow and eventually explode and let us reassure you: it was definitely worth the wait!

Eleven new cuts where every side of the duo's nature gets its own share of expression only to leave you wrapped in one pitch black cloak. A few episodes in the band's native language Dutch, add even more mystery to the occult receipt. Go down the stairs to the dungeon of the club culture, remain bogged down in the darkness, give up and surrender.

By now sold out Smoked Clear and still available Black vinyl LPs are here and getting shipped. CD edition is a bit late from the pressing plant because SOMETHING has got to go sideways, right? Will ship these as soon as we get them, don't worry!

Here comes the second single from House Of Harm upcoming album.

Set out to explore different dynamics, “Two Kinds” is another first for House of Harm in that it’s predominantly driven by acoustic guitar. Vulnerability shows up with the new single being one of their most revealing songs to date from a lyrical standpoint, written from a place of reflection and weakness and tackling feelings uneasy to be put on display for public consumption.

Word is born, Boston knights of shadow-pop House Of Harm have a new album called Playground out December 1st, 2023.

Lead singer Michael Rocheford rounded out by Cooper Leardi (guitar/synths) and Tyler Kershaw (guitar/synth) have amassed an impressive following as something of a best kept secret among their growing fanbase, making a name for themselves among music fans with darker pop persuasions via a steady stream of releases in single, ep and album form.

That attention to detail and workmanlike approach at the expense of chasing instant gratification seems to be paying dividends after years of steady effort. The journey of their new album Playground saw House of Harm stay true to that ethos.

The band painstakingly narrowed the record down to an efficient 10 tracks that they felt made the most sense, both standing on their own as well as fitting into an LP that built a cohesive world for the listener to get lost in 🌗

Taken as a whole, the end result is an album representing a collection of the band’s most raw and expressive songs yet ☘️

In conjunction with the album announcement House of Harm are releasing the new single Roseglass along with an accompanying music video.
The video for the song was shot at a public marketplace in southeastern Massachusetts, a departure from the band’s past music videos, which had all been filmed in private settings. The scrutiny from the passersby made filming the video an uncomfortable bit of exhibitionism for the band, playing into that theme.

Happy release day to Mr Charles Rowell as his solo project Crush of Souls drops a new album today!

Coming from an arduous two years of literal blood, sweat and tears - with gigs becoming infamous with guitars smashed to pieces, broken glasses, unruly audience front flipping onto the stage - every bit of drama, creative wanderings around Europe and sleep psychosis can be found within the walls of (A)Void Love.

With Paris providing the background and a scene of friends such as avant-garde drag artist Tuna Mess and industrial techno veteran Poison Point who pushed his creativity even further, Crush Of Souls constant spirit is that it remains unpredictable and thrives on collaboration. This is even more true with his newest record.

There’s always been a thread of synth-punk, death rock and DIY noise running through all of Charles’ projects (Crocodiles (Band), ISSUE, Flowers of Evil), however Crush Of Souls pushes harder and further into the darkness with (A)Void Love.

Happy release day to Buffalo top firm DELUXXE as their debut recording If You Were Me drops today.

Just want to say I'm particularly fond of this release first because well these tunes rip, second of all because it's just great to see people coming from the skinhead and hardcore underworld approaching post punk and new wave sounds with such clarity of intent and achieving such results from the get go.

It seems after years of fragmentation old-style youth subcultures have come together as one and they can finally relate to one another to create just beautiful music.

First edition on black vinyl limited to 300 next to be sold out cause yeah this is that good.
