Good Morning ☀️
I’ve been reflecting on my biological father the last couple days. I even missed him and wanted to see him. Then I was reminded that he’s not alive. 🥹

No he doesn’t get the father of the year award, I still loved him. Even though I was rejected in the court room, I still loved him. Though he told me, at midnight on my 18th birthday, he told me, he called foster care for us (my siblings) to get picked up by CPS. Which led to foster care, I still loved him. My anger as a child, teenager, and adult was real.

Iim thankful after all these years, I don’t hold anger to him. Yes I’ve been through some horrific things, yet GOD bless, and I’m here. I

Not only am I here, but I’m here as a man, husband, father, and brother. Yes 😁

Sitting here reflecting started off with hurt, hoped my son would meet him someday🥺, now that won’t happen.

Worshipping and praying this morning, peace and joy came to my mind 😁

I reflected on my kids now. Lex has a totally different life. He has no idea what that life is like😁.

What’s interesting is that as I continue to live and create new memories , the old memories of hurt are passing away. 😁. Healing has been happening all this time, as I walk in a change lifestyle 😁.

Forgiveness has become a source of healing because it took some memories away.

I realize the stage that I’m in now. I don’t need to be reminded of the past. If I’m not building the next person up to encourage, then why bring up the past pain. 😁

My childhood past is gone. My adult life is here. I’m still here😁. I have a LIFE. A great life now and better life coming. 😁.

Same for you. You have a great life now😁. In Christ you have a better life coming 😁.
