Be mindful of companies across social media that spread misinformation that try to destroy the lives of professionals.
For months, a video with misinformation that involved professional film actors and movie director who were part of a Jury at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018. The original video was edited, framed and a few seconds from the video was used to create a propaganda, allegedly accusing an actor of trying to make another actor uncomfortable. Words such as harassment, uncomfortable, and others were used to accuse the actor.
Our team decided to fish out that particular video and hone in to showcase the video from a different angle to make clear what happened based on the event in the video itself. Our intention is to STOP the spreading of misinformation in the name creating content and getting clicks; spreading false information about people is dangerous. It takes a little match stick to burn down an entire forest.

Hattie McDaniel was not allowed to attend the premiere of Gone with the Wind in Atlanta on December 15, 1939 because the city demanded that Black actors not be present.
McDaniel was the first African American actor to be nominated for an Oscar for her role in Gone with the Wind. However, the 12th Academy Awards ceremony was held at the segregated Ambassador Hotel, so McDaniel had to get special permission to attend. When she did attend, she was seated at a separate table away from her fellow cast members.
McDaniel’s Oscar is now a mystery. She left it to Howard University in her will, but it disappeared from the university’s display case in 1972. The Film Academy recently announced that it will replace McDaniel’s Oscar.
“It has made me feel very, very humble, and I shall always hold it as a beacon for anything I may be able to do in the future,” she told the crowd. “I sincerely hope I shall always be a credit to my race and to the motion picture industry.” - Hattie McDaniel
