Acceptance
I find peace in accepting what I cannot change.

Even though I use my mind’s tremendous creative power to direct my life, there will always be some things I cannot change. When faced with these intractable situations, I practice acceptance and find peace.

Acceptance does not mean I want or like what is happening around me. Instead, it means I am committed to rising above it. I align myself with the Divine within and remove my troubled energy from unwelcome situations.

As I do this, I am trusting the presence and power of God is in every circumstance, including those I would like to change.

Living as the spiritual being I am helps me accept the world as it is without being weighed down by it. God is greater than the things of the world. This is the truth of my life.

My brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy.—James 1:2

Presence
God’s presence goes with me during life’s highs and lows.

No matter where I am or what I do, the presence of God is within me, my empowerment and my comfort.

The presence of God within me keeps me rooted in the awareness of my many spiritual gifts. I need not wonder whether I have what it takes to answer the call of my heart and move in the direction of my dreams. Through the divine presence within, I am strong and imaginative. I have enthusiasm for what is before me and the determination to see it through.

The presence of God is also with me in my lower periods. When I am in need of comfort, I lean into God’s presence and feel enfolded in love and peace. God is my comfort, my assurance that when the world feels dark, the divine light shines within me.

If I ascend to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there.—Psalm 139:8

“We Stand Together!”

Pray for Others
I reach out to others in prayer, knowing we are all one in God.

English author John Donne wrote, “No man is an island, entire of itself.” I keep those words in mind as I pray for others.

Each person for whom I pray is a divine being, just as I am. I honor their beliefs as I value my own. I want for others what I want for myself—health, prosperity, peace of mind, and a meaningful life.

As I give of myself through prayer, I am blessing others as I hold them in the light of God. I do not need to know each person’s particular circumstances to pray for them and affirm their highest and best outcomes.

I envision my family, friends, and all others enfolded in divine light and see us as kindred spirits, children of God. I remember the truth that no one is an island as I pray for others.

Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving.—Colossians 4:2

My passions are inspired by God. I am excited and exciting.

Feeling excitement is a powerful message. It means I am moving in the direction of boldly sharing my talents and gifts, the best parts of me that I am uniquely poised to bring to vivid life.

My interests and passions are divinely inspired. They are my way of bringing the love and energy of God into the world. When I follow the call of my heart, when I give the best of myself, when I shine with the luminosity of Spirit, my excitement is not just for me. It is for everyone, so they may feel inspired to follow and pursue their passions and share their gifts.

This is how the presence of God is made manifest in the world. My excitement kindles excitement in others. Today I will share my passion and inspire others to share theirs.

Worthy
I am worthy and proud.

Knowing my oneness with God means knowing my worth and that I matter. I will no longer play it small or shrink in fear. This is a new moment, and I courageously embrace all that I am as a unique, divine creation deserving the best life has to offer.

I am ready to be seen for who I am. I am proud to speak my truth and be my authentic self. I do not need anyone’s approval to be content and at peace. I let my light shine in a kaleidoscope of brilliant colors.

God You Are My Comfort Comfort
I am enfolded in the loving comfort of God.

At times my stability may be shaken and I may feel I have lost my security and no longer know my place in the world. When this happens, when I don’t know where or to whom I can turn, I take comfort in my faith in God.

In the past, my faith has gotten me through other troubling times and low points. I remember this as I cope with present difficulties. God, the one presence and power, was my rock and refuge, the source of goodness and grace on which I could absolutely depend.

My faith will carry me through this period as well. I allow myself feelings of sadness and worry, even as I believe this too shall pass. I lift my thoughts from what may be wrong to what is always right: the comforting love of God.

The Lord is good, a stronghold in a day of trouble; he protects those who take refuge in him.—Nahum 1:7

“ My mind is filled with peace and comfort. ”

It’s more important than ever to fill our minds with peace and comfort. We must take comfort in knowing that we are not alone and there are so many others experiencing the same feelings we are. Even though life can be hard sometimes, we can choose to focus on the good. We can clear our minds and fill them with positive, uplifting thoughts. By doing so, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities and attract more positivity into our lives. Let us all remember that peace begins with each one of us. Only then can we hope to achieve it in the world around us. “My mind is filled with peace and comfort.”

Serenity

Serenity is the blessing I receive from God and share with others.

When the air is calm and still, a lake’s surface is undisturbed and smooth as glass. It is the picture of serenity, inspiring to all those who see it.
When I am calm, unperturbed by the winds of shifting circumstance that swirl around me, I am as serene as the lake surface.
My serenity is the peace of God expressing through me. It is my comfort, but it is also a comfort to others, an inspiration that they, too, may know the peace of God as I do.
Peace is everyone’s divine right, and it lives in every heart. As I live more and more confidently as the divine being I am, I encourage others to do the same. As more and more people discover the peace that dwells within them, we will bless the world with our shared serenity.

“A Meaningful Excellence!”

Inner Peace
I let the small things go and find peace.

On those days I feel quick to irritation and anger, I may mistakenly blame other people and circumstances for the lack of peace in my mind and heart. But when I remember I choose my reactions, I realize I can choose to meet any situation with peace.

I give meaning to the things that happen to me and around me. I keep this in mind the next time I feel my peace disturbed. If before I might have lost my temper, I now pause to breathe deeply before I speak. If I may have been tempted to blame another in my frustration, I now see them as a fellow divine being, worthy of kindness and understanding.

The peace of God is always available to me. I claim this peace as my own and keep life’s small irritations in perspective.

And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for those who make peace.—James 3:18

Keep the faith that each situation you encounter will have a perfect resolution and always work out for your good. It may not be easy to see how things could work out for your good when you are in the midst of a difficult situation, but there is always a solution, and your needs will be met. Everything works out for the best, so do not worry and keep yourself in a positive mental state.

Visualize your needs being met, and imagine yourself surrounded by all the resources, support, and abundance you need. Relax, take a deep breath, and let go of all worries and concerns.

Wonder
I live with a sense of wonder.

The world is full of so many wonders. Each day I feel gratitude for the beauty and magnificence that surround me.
My heart delights at the feel of a soft breeze and the warm sunlight. I know joy as I listen to birds singing and to the lilt of joyful voices. I am blessed as I savor the flavors of my food, giving thanks for its nourishment.
Just as my wonder makes the world a rich and inviting place, it also prompts me to want to know myself as a spiritual being and grow closer to God.
I grow in awe of God, the one presence and power in the Universe, as I contemplate the many ways I’ve been blessed. I also feel humbled to use my divine gifts to help others feel the wonder that fills my life.
