We admit it - we are not the best when it comes to keeping our social media channels up to date, especially when we get busy. Here’s an update on what we’ve been up to (long post alert):

Hidden Letters (edited and co-written by John Farbrother) was nominated for an Emmy award for Best Documentary. Fun pic below of the talented team at the Emmy award ceremony.

Swimming Through continues to play in festivals as well as streaming via The New Yorker. Upcoming is 41 North Film Festival Friday 11/8 at 3:30pm. We are thrilled to be playing with the award-winning line-up. If you’re in Michigan check it out.

The Here Now Project Siskel/Jacobs Productions (edited by John Farbrother) premiered at Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival and has gone on to screen in festivals across the country. It had its NYC premiere as part of Climate Film Festival playing alongside One with the Whale which was also edited by John Farbrother. One with the Whale screened on PBS/POV in April and is now streaming on Apple TV.

A bunch of new projects are in the works - looking forward to sharing more about those soon!

Very exciting news! Swimming Through will be released by The New Yorker early December! What began as a fascination with three women in Chicago who were swimming daily at sunrise in the icy waters of Lake Michigan, became a much deeper story about friendship, resilience and finding joy in the darkest of times. We are thrilled that our awards qualified film will be available for a worldwide audience on The New Yorker's documentary site. Congratulations to the amazing Helen Wagner Jennefer Hoffmann Deirdre Hamill Squiers and to our incredibly talented crew John Farbrother Ben Kolak Alan Chow The Robo Collective Elizabeth Winkler Xiaoyu Yin Resolution Productions Group and supporters Chicago Media Project Columbia College Chicago
