1st Aid Records/Collective First Aid Records has its musical roots in art house rock, indie-blues and experimental retro pop.

First Aid Records/1st Aid Collective draws on a diverse representation of music and back grounds. Inspired by the model used by the Delgados during the 90‘s who founded Chemikal Underground, Fence Collective, Rough trade, Factory Records, Post Card Records, 4AD, Domino, Beggars Banquet and Creation Records and many Independent live artists: the label was founded in 2007 by performance artist Roxanne Claxton and events organiser Dorothee Weber.
