Nearly two years ago, we put out an issue of mock Hallmark Movie ideas. One of the ideas was the story of Caitlyn Killjoy, a lawyer with no time for love who unwittingly stumbles upon the man of her dreams, only he is a snowman.

Well, it would seem Netflix is set to release a new holiday rom-com called "Hot Frosty" later this year. I guess the objective is to take someone's idea and claim it as their own? Either way, we're flattered.

Hard to believe we (the MockingBird team and I) released this debut issue six years ago. Looking back, this was a fun project to be a part of. I still enjoy reading through the issues from time to time.
