So excited to announce that I'm headed to NOLA baby! Thanks so much Essence Fest for choosing my original one hour television pilot drama, AISHA, as an official selection for their 2024 film festival. This news is coming in hot 🔥and right on time. I can't believe this story first came to me 4 years ago. Earlier this year I was experiencing serious creative blocks/doubts but God always gives you the reassurance when you need it most! All that to say, I can't give up and neither can you. It's truly going to be a HOT GIRL SUMMER.💃🏾 Comment below if you think I should make this movie next!

I was born on a Sunday. My 34th year was unimaginable and taught me so much. A lot went wrong but a lot also went right! That’s life. I low key went through a mid-life crisis lol but all I need to continue to do is accept the woman I am becoming. Thank you friends and family for always reminding me of who I am. I love you so much. Special thanks to hubby for making this birthday a very memorable one.

This year I had to teach myself to really enjoy my life now as it is no matter what. This year I had to teach myself that I’m worthy of success. This year I has to teach myself to never let anything spoil your day. Ever! There’s too many reasons to be grateful 💗💕. I give thanks and feel so blessed. I give God full control over my life!! Amen 🙏🏾

The gift that keeps on giving back! 🎁 So excited to have the opportunity to share CROWN the film during our official film festival run. Next up is Heritage Film Festival in Washington DC on this Sunday November 5th. CROWN will be one of the few films selected to show in person. Hey LN Tribe and Facebook family! I recently co-produced Look Back At It with Honey Chile Entertainment and wanted to make sure you know about HONEY CHILE Fest, which is taking place for the first time in Baltimore on August 19.

The one-day festival will celebrate the creative works and diverse stories of ‘Honeys’ (Black women 40+), through film, inspiring conversations, and community, shining the spotlight on Baltimore and its homegrown artistic talent. Hosted by Black Femme Supremacy Film Festival and Felicia Pride’s production company HONEY CHILE.

The festival will feature the first ever live edition of the NAACP-nominated podcast Chile, Please, hosted by Felicia Pride and Ivy Grant, with special guest, Baltimorean Ty Alexander. It will also host the Baltimore premiere of HONEY CHILE’s award-winning short film LOOK BACK AT IT, starring viral sensation / Baltimore native Angel Laketa Moore! AND, there will be a special screening of films about Baltimore curated by BFSF. And Ty Alexander will be DJing the afterparty!

God always blesses me better than I imagine each and every time! 🙏🏾💕I’m so grateful for my tribe. When I say Love Nafi is more than a name- it’s an energetic communion, it’s an ethic. I’m far from perfect but what I do- what I create- the relationships I build- is all about love. I’m literally overwhelmed by everyone who showed up and showed out- and made this event a sold out success. Creating CROWN with and has overall been an amazing journey. I’ve learned so many lessons. This project represents both a pinnacle and introduction. CROWN DMV was honestly such an elegant and magical experience. The entire team was absolutely amazing. I’m so grateful to everyone who showed up and helped CROWN come to life. Only UP from here.

One thing about me is that I’m hungry. Like reallllll hungry. To the degree that a lot of people don’t really understand. The work, the technique, the strategy, the money, the grind, the time (management), the family balancing, the precision, the attention to details, the people skills, the social relevancy, the emails, the phone calls, the networking, the life lessons ,the unlearning, the relearning, the self education, the leadership, the nurturing, the awakening, the internal work, the self care, the prayers, the self love. . . . I may make it look easy- but it’s not- it’s hard af

[Repeat after me] I don’t even care what other people are doing or what they have done. I have no fear of any person or situation because I know the path God has destined for me. I know my worth and the value that I bring to any table regardless of the lack or presence of accolades. I belong where there is greatness. I’m grateful for all the experiences and opportunities thus far but it’s about going ham at this point and just making dope s**t that changes our cultural landscape. My mentality always is that we are going to make this s**t happen. We’re always going to get her done. If you give me something we’re going to make that s**t pop! You want me on your team, and I want you on mine! June is bringing me a different energy I can’t quite put my finger on. I hope people can really tap in. We up!
