The Classic Music Company are back for Defected Croatia 2024 with a brilliant lineup of so many friends.

We’ll be hosting Barbarella’s Discotheque on Friday and the Main Stage on Saturday. The festival is shorter and sweeter this year and you won’t want to miss us, we promise.

Diasporic dance duo Dave + Sam present their follow-up single 'Not The Same', hot on the heels of previous Classic single 'Just A Man'. The two established artists joined forces back in 2016, bursting onto the scene with unique tracks that combine hip hop and other rhythmic genres with modern house sensibilities and outside-the-box thinking. Working closely with Classic, the New York and Los Angeles based artists quickly established a signature Dave + Sam feel and continued to impress tastemakers worldwide with their subsequent releases. For this latest release, 'Not The Same', the pair deliver a more minimal outing, focusing on addictive repeated lyrics that carry a stoic bravado while electronic pulses twist the track into something much darker.

The 60 minute hot mix is a Luke & J***y Rock Space Special to coincide with the release of the album today... "A tribute to the late Kenny Hawkes, London's dark lord of house music. Lovingly selected and curated by Luke Solomon, Jonny Rock and Leon Oakey.

Running from 1995 to 2002, 'Space' was a Wednesday night founded by Kenny Hawkes and Luke Solomon. It inhabited the underground world of Bar Rumba right in the heart of London's West End and took place each and every week."
