Cheers everyone! I hate it when someone whose work I respect starts whining. Really takes the wind ouf of my sails. On the other hand, I hate falsehood and pretend perfection even more. Self pity is unhelpful, but sharing the reality of our struggles helps us remind each other that we are in no way alone, and that many of the most frightening feelings we have, are no longer well grounded in contact with our deep humanity. (It isn't just that we can do way better - we actualy ARE doing way better than we feel or think)

I have several large projects about history, spirit, art and understanding underway right now. I am learning a great deal as I work on them, and try to resolve the many contradictions raised, and it feels as if I am making some genuine progress in difficult understandings. Hi friends - just working on building out a bit of structure again (substack takes tinkering, but seems robust and rewarding so far). The cool thing about this new platform is that I can finally recover all my old podcasts (I know I'm still creaky and need work - but I've come a fair way, all the same). ;o)
