Almost exactly five years ago, we teamed up with Christian from Dealer de Vin to release CNS100, our 100th catalogue number — a fantastic red wine plus the Spotify playlist ‚When We Sip‘. The wine sold out quickly, but the playlist remained, and it continues to be updated weekly with fresh refills curated by our label head, Alex; Christian - who has since moved on to co-found the creative agency bureau bravo - as well as friends from the music and wine industries.

has created a rebranding for our little playlist project, and we’re absolutely in love with it!

“Enjoy My Sensations” exemplifies the first house wave that hit Italy in the late '80s and early '90s—high energy, powerful stabs, and prominent vocals in the Bari dialect. It's a track that could be envisioned in the early days of the temple of Italian dance music, Cocoricò in Riccione. Enzo Elia, another expert in Italian dance music like Cheema, drew a similar comparison but infused a substantial amount of classic US House into his “Riccione 1994 Mix.” Additionally, he delivered a beats version with his “Grooveappella Mixdown.”

Farewell summer of 2023. Today we release "Smeigedag", Of Norway’s ode to the last days of summer.

"Smeigedag" immerses listeners in the bittersweet essence of the last days of summer, where the melancholy of the season intertwines with a sense of impending darkness known to all Scandinavians. Featuring six carefully crafted tracks, the mini-album beautifully encapsulates the range of emotions experienced during this transitional period, making it the perfect companion for the final open-air events of the season.

"Smeigedag" serves as a poignant reminder that every ending brings new beginnings, capturing the essence of both farewell and anticipation. The album's title, a word derived from Norwegian folklore, reflects this sentiment perfectly, as it represents a day of intimacy and closeness before the darkness takes over. Of Norway channels these emotions into their music, delivering an introspective journey that resonates with the listener on a profound level.
