Two Galaxies is an original composition (2019) for two banduras by Ivan Dusanowskyj. In this recording, 1st bandura is playing in the right ear, while 2nd bandura is playing in the left ear to emphasize the interplay and weaving of the two parts. (A surprise 3rd bandura shows up at the end.) 🤫

Sung as a round at bandura camps all over North America! Played here as a round with two hands, Poltava style, plus a delay effect making four voices in total.

Bandura version of Sirius by The Alan Parsons Project (which I believe was some sort of hovercraft).

This song has been used at many sporting events, most notably as the intro song for the Chicago Bulls during their NBA Championship Run in the '90s.

Everything you hear (except for the drone at the beginning and the drums) is bandura! Delay effect and quick-damping technique on the main riff. Distortion on the hits.

Winter's love song to spring. ❄️🌱

The ancient symbols of New Years are the eccentric Malanka (who symbolizes the Old Year and Winter) and her love Vasyl (the New Year and Spring). Malanka was traditionally celebrated on January 13th, New Year's Eve by the old calendar.

In this folk song from Ternopil, Ukraine, Malanka sings to Vasyl about their elusive love, since nature dictates they can never be together for too long.

Sound Escape 16 ✨️

Relax with this 6 vs 4 polyrhythm. This time, we're experimenting with alternative tuning - A426! This gives the meditative 852hz frequency an octave higher.

Played on an instrument that has resonance very close to a sine wave when you play in the middle of the string. Shimmer and dynamic reverbs added.

Played on Vetzel Bandura #107, with a 6 over 4 polyrhythm. The strange chorus effect seems to remove any of the bandura's resonance... 🤔
