Hindi na mamumuhay sa dilim ang isang sitio sa Misamis Oriental dahil... MAY ILAW NA!

Liblib na probinsya sa Misamis Oriental, may ilaw na!

Hindi na mahihirapan sa dilim ang mga residente ng Sitio Curnao, Brgy Umagos sa Lagonglong, Misamis Oriental dahil nakuha na nila ang mga solar lights mula sa 58th Infantry Battalion ng Dimalulupig sa ilalim ng Philippine Army.

Dahil sa layo ng Sitio Crunao, ito ay parte ng tinatawag na Geographicllt Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas o GIDA ng Bayan ng Lagonglong. Hindi madaling puntahan ang lugar dahil wala pang maaayos na kalsada papunta rito. Sa katunayan, nasa tatlong kilometro ang layo nito mula sa mga karatig Sitio.

Sampung solar streetlights ang ipinamahagi sa lugar. Kasabay nito, nagkaroon din ng mga palaro. Binigyan din ang mga residente ng libreng gupit sa buhok, mga food packs, gamit sa farming,at mga school supplies sa dalawapu’t limang kabahayan.

Plano pa ng gobyerno na sundan ito para maipaalam sa mga liblib na lugar na hindi sila nalilimutan ng gobyerno.
