Facebook Protect is essentially a security feature aimed at users who might be at higher risk of hacking attempts, like public figures, people with a large online following or associated with a business page. What it does is pretty straightforward – it helps enhance your account's security settings, encouraging you to enable two-factor authentication, which significantly ups your defense against unauthorized access.

So go ahead and click next and set that up!

Now, if you get an email from Facebook about activating Facebook Protect, it's crucial to verify it's genuinely from [email protected]. Facebook wouldn't ask for your password or send you dubious links through these communications. Always be cautious and check the sender's email address if you receive such a notification.

Even if you haven't been prompted to activate Facebook Protect, it doesn't mean you can't improve your account's security on your own. Setting up two-factor authentication is a always wise move!

Let's debunk some social media myths...👇 my favorite is at the end of this post.

More followers don't always mean more success.
Thinking more followers equals more sales? Think again. Having 100 engaged followers is way more valuable than 10,000 who don't truly connect with your brand.

Posting more doesn't guarantee better results.
Just because you're posting a lot doesn't automatically make your content high-quality. Remember, it's about quality over quantity.

Success isn't an overnight story.
Seeing those "overnight success" stories? Growth is a unique journey for everyone and requires dedication. It doesn't just happen overnight.

And finally, that all business owners or sales reps are naturally good at social media.
If you are comparing your social media to another person in your industry who has a killer social media, remember they were not ALWAYS that way! They have probably spent time learning how to do so, spent money on programs to help them, or maybe they even hired a social media agency! So do not think you are just supposed to have this creative social gene!

Scheduling content is one of my #1 tips for more consistent and quality content! Oh and being less stressed about social! Did you know you can schedule your Reels without ever leaving the app? This can be great if you have Instagram specific audio you want to use because you cannot use a third party app to schedule content using IG’s audio!
