Lima Express welcomes the newest member to the family — Gryr.
This 5-song EP is a playful, yet serious take on improvisation using a brigade of synthesizers, drum machines and FX-boxes.
Growing up on a small island in the archipelago, Gryr states that the music he now makes is a journey back to those roots. He remembers walking around the cliffs near the ocean while listening, watching and enjoying the sometimes dark and powerful force of Mother Nature.
Even though new in the Lima Express-family, Gryr sure is no newcomer when it comes to making or playing music. As a drummer in several successful bands, covered in The Guardian, Highsnobiety, The Fader, etc, he played stages like Boiler Room, Roskilde, SXSW and Way Out West as well as being support act for Com Truise and Tycho.
