After I needed to reschedule their engagement session due getting a cuncussion; they braved the cold, and racing to beat the rainstorm that was coming on the new session day.

However, it made for memories; this session was filled with joy, laughter, and love between these two is clearly seen.

It's been a blessing to see the two of you grow together, and I am excited to be apart of your lives.

Added a new item to my collection this past week. This Polaroid belonged to the dad of someone special to me. As we picked up some remaining items from her parent's house; this camera was hiding in a container. I held back tears when she offered it to me, as he felt like my grandpa and family too.
It will be cherished, and continue capturing memories for in my personal life.

My photography journey started with Polaroid camera just like this, but it was green.
It helped me learn to tune into finding those special moments-you have you wait and be intentional about the images photographed.

There is nothing like holding a Polaroid in your hand. Being in the moment, but also holding a physical piece of frozen memory at the same time.

Mine doesn't typically stay the same-I like them all.

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, or violet; the colors from a rainbow. 🌈

After a storm passes, we see rainbows as a symbol of better things to come. A rainbow is always a wonderful reminder; as it is a symbol of hope, inspiration, & promise.

I don't remember how many images and layers it took to create this final image. I enjoyed creating this new scene from little peices of images; to show the image I saw in my mind

Started editing again last year. This year, I'm gonna start sharing different sides of Visually Sound Media more.

I did not keep the source files for this image as I didn't think I'd need to show a before & after of this project. It is made up of 5 images, and took a good bit of time to get the layering just right.

This image idea came about from a friend at the time; based off of the verses

Genesis 1:1-5 KJV
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. [2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. [3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
