I'm gonna say it.
The only things that make the new Armored core feel like a Souls game is the increased effectiveness of swords, the addition of shields, the stagger gauge, and the difficulty of bosses.
If they just tweaked some of the boss fights so people die less, it'd be pretty much exactly feel like the way I remember Armored Core For Answer.

Got back into Last Cloudia after I saw an ad for the Code Geass collab and I gotta say that the grind was worth getting his Ark of the gacha and then getting Lelouch through the pity system the game has. Can't say it was a joy to grind for the stuff needed to get him this far, but I almost have the resources to get him to max.

BTW it took almost 2 months to get him here 🤣😅
