We have dreamed big and acted locally in our attempt to bring quality literature to the big table. We have had reviews in diverse places as the New York Review of Books, USA Today, Chicago Tribune, Foreword Magazine, ALA Booklist, Curve Magazine, and the Wordsworth Circle. ooden structures that can still be found atop modern buildings and urban neighborhoods of Chicago. I was so personally invested in this book that I contributed an editor’s note, where I wrote “out of the wild urban jungle rose the rooftop water tanks, defining the skyline with their cast iron bases welded in place for eternity, and making their own bold statement.”

I see a remarkable correlation between rooftop tanks and books. If an inert object like a water tank can make a bold statement, than certainly books make many. Wisdom and knowledge can be preserved in a book, and like tanks they can be utilized over and over again. Both come from trees, a renewable resource. Both sustain life in their own unique ways.
