It was a very very hot March day in South Florida... Sana and I zipped back and forth across town searching for the best urbanscapes, but everywhere we went it was super crowded. Luckily we did manage to get a few good shots, some yummy Thai food, and fun conversation. She is such a sweetheart ❤️

My first model shoot in Bangkok was with Ploy at her home studio, back in 2016. You can see flecks of paint on her leg as she had been painting the walls earlier that morning. Natural light portrait with my old Canon 6D, iso1600. It was a quiet session, muffled Bangkok street sounds, an oscillating fan, not much talking, just the click of my shutter. Beautiful light. Very memorable.

Happy Sanaday!

It was great meeting up with my friend Sana earlier this year. We spent most of the time talking about our friend Chris, remembering his love of photography, sunsets, sushi, and the great times we've had together in Samui and South Florida. We still miss him. He started the tradition of posting on "Sanaday", and I think he'd like this one, too.

Sooo happy that I was able to reunite with my friend Megan in Virginia before I moved back to Florida last month. We first met when we both worked in Rome, Italy a decade ago.
