It’s been a mostly snowless winter in Minnesota where I live. Now that it is spring we got some snow and people are grumpy about it. However the snow is BEAUTIFUL. My 3 dogs are so freaking happy and refuse to come inside. They have been angry all winter at the lack of snow. Seriously, they are just relaxing and the black one won’t even look at me. Hahaha!

This is what strong looks like. Hands down I’m going through the HARDEST season of my life. But doing what’s best for your family is not always the easy path. Note: Look at my sweet Abby! She’s being my emotional support dog as a weighted & heated blanket! Arkeo was howling/crying with me and sat next to me for awhile. Yuki gave me kisses. My tribe is surrounding me and God has got this.

These 3 pups have been the biggest turds. Yesterday they went through the trash! Then last night we pulled up carpet for new flooring. The subfloor was in perfect condition-win! Until the middle of the night when someone peed on the subfloor. This morning I had to clean the sub floor and treat it before new flooring could be laid. Then two of the three threw up from eating trash. Finally, they got in a fight and one got a laceration which I had to shave, clean and glue. Ugh! But then I sit down tonight with all 3 babies surrounding me with love and warm me up. All of the troubles fall away with the love I feel. If you can manage a Siberian husky - it’s a lot! - it is worth it for the love they choose to give, beauty and laughter they provide. PS the jackets they wear are reflective and allow the cars/people to see them.
