Xtina Superstar has been fighting for trans representation in the Philippine fashion and nightlife scene for over a decade. She started her djing career at Fluxxe, an underground party in the early oughts. She is also one of the catalysts behind the emergence of 2010s political underground q***r safe spaces, after being denied entry multiple times for simply being trans.

These experiences led to the creation of the Panty Monsters, an underground collective of q***r talents who put up pop up, no holds barred parties, as a protest against establishments who denied q***r people entry. She then birthed Hotdog, an iconic, unapologetically party in the mid 2010s. She now hosts Church at Apotheka, a techno-pop-house-electro-anything goes q***r party, among being a resident dj at multiple q***r establishments in Manila.

Dose. is the multifaceted DJ & Music project from partners Max & Taylor. Their musical style flows through genre bending Techno that fuses sounds from the punk & disco eras.

Throughout the past several years, Dose. has notably transmitted music at events & venues such as: Yelapa Music & Arts Gathering, Shambhala Music Festival, Versions, Sled Island, Wicked Woods, The Waldorf, Bloom Nightclub, YamBak, and their own Festival creation Re-Unión.

JHNN is a multi-genre artist and DJ from Calgary, Alberta Canada. They mainly DJ Darkwave, EBM and alternative music at the moment but originates from DJing house/disco/uk funky music since 2008. As a q***r person exploring their identity, AWood gives credit to the rave for being the place where they found self-love and acceptance. Today, AWood pays respect to the music that changed their life by curating sets that take the dancefloor on a white-knuckled ride of anticipation and euphoria with their transgressive selection of techno, house, trance, and beyond.

AWood has brought their distinct sound to events across Canada, playing extended sets in Vancouver, Calgary, and recently performing at Shambhala Music Festival in 2022. Often sliding between Portland and Seattle, Baby is a founding member of Peripheral Pups, a PNW collective that hosts renegade events celebrating q***r community, wellness and mutual aid. Their sound draws on influences of psychedelia, leftfield techno, and deconstructed club, while invoking their west coast gay roots. When they’re not DJing or dancing, Baby is well-known for creating iconic rave ambience through elaborate floral sculptures and botanical installations.

Lucci is a q***r, mixed-race DJ based in Vancouver. A raver first, her adventure into DJing initially began as a love for dance, eventually leading her from the world of hip hop choreography to primal floor-stomping at raves. She is endlessly inspired by the capacity of music to reach into the soul, and the transformative nature of collective movement.

Daylighting as a harm reduction worker and researcher, Lucci’s guiding aim is to extend connectivity to the disparate parts of ourselves and each other. This theme emerges in her latest mix exploring the dichotomies of past and present, darkness and light, the known and unfamiliar - an attempt to expressing our transitory nature through sound and storytelling.

othrwrld’s debut release on OBSKUR opens the portal to a hyperreal world of sounds, seamlessly fusing weightless breaks and airy trance in this uplifting 3-track EP from the up and coming Portland producer and DJ. Exploring deep textures and propulsive beats, the subtly evolving melodies of softly hypnotic opener “muses speak through ether” give way to the veiled intensity of “bare feet pound mossy forest floor,” a driving, ethereal rhythmic meditation transported by vaporous basslines and mesmeric grooves.
