Just a reminder - this year's "required item" for all films is a Toy Robot. All this means is that we need to see a Toy Robot somewhere in your film, or a character has to say the words "toy robot", in any context, somewhere in the dialogue. The Toy Robot does NOT need to be an important or integral part of the film. We just need it in there to verify and confirm that your film was created for this event. A poster in the background for example, is fine.

Taking this occasion to remind you that the Earlybird Cutoff for 2024 STC entries is coming up! The entry fee is only $20 through June 15, 2024. ANNOUNCING THE 2024 SINGLE-TAKE CHALLENGE!

Ready to start thinking about next year's Challenge? OK, we're ready for you!

As is our tradition, we will require 3 things for your film to be accepted as a 2024 Official Entry:

1) Any length up to a maximum of 8 minutes;
2) One legitimate continuous shot - no cuts or hidden cuts;
3) In each film, this year we must see or hear... a Toy Robot. The toy robot does NOT need to be an important part of the film. We just need to see one or hear the words "toy robot", in any context, somewhere in your film.

That's it! PLEASE make sure you follow all of the Official Rules in the FilmFreeway link below. DQ'd films will not be refunded.
