Our friends and neighbours across our western border need our help ! Dean Bowling Club Edinburgh will be celebrating its 125th anniversary next season. They have commissioned a 125 centenary badge to commemorate this milestone and they would like your help to source earlier versions for their archives.

The club have been trying to source these other badges from within their membership but are finding it difficult. Hopefully our followers can come up trumps for them.

Old Time is probably the most endangered Scottish dance style, but worth resurrecting. Come and have a go at something Scottish but different – not high-octane ceilidhs, nor Scottish country dancing, although quite a few of the dances are included in the ceilidh dance style repertoire.

Repair Cafe Edinburgh is coming to LifeCare! If you need help repairing your broken electrical, electronic, and mechanical devices such as toys, small/low voltage electrical, laptops, bring them along and the Repair Cafe volunteers will help you fix them. There will also be experts in bicycles, and fabric fixers there too.

The event is free but please get in touch to check availability to avoid disappointment. Email [email protected] to reserve a place or drop by on the day and they will try to take a look. 🔨🔩🧷
