It's totally safe. RUN IT as it's also safe. That allows you to join the chat room. Once ParaChat is running you'll see the familiar coffee brewing Java symbol appear and then a window will ask you to Join the Chat Room by typing in your name or nickname. Any of the DJ's will use their DJ names while others use anything like,"Rouge" for my sister in law who has red hair or "Bullet Head" for my cousin, Vito who got that nickname years ago as a child because he always ran head first. (Sunday is Bullet Head's birthday, by the way!)

One last bit of information. Iphone and Ipad users: In either application, when you click on the links, your screen will go dark and a big arrow will appear in the center. Click on the arrow to hear the music. If it doesn't work, don't panic. Shut down your computer or Iphone/Ipad and start again. It's worth it. This music is killer. No Commercials

This Sunday morning at 10 join me, Dr. Bop on my Oldies Over Easy program as we feature songs from the hit TV sitcom, Ally McBeal featuring songs by Vonda Shepard, Barry White and more plus tunes by Elton John and a plethora of other great artists.
This show is dedicated to our friend Judy Robin who sadly lost her battle with cancer six years ago. She was an optimist and great lady who died way too soon. The song lists features many of Judy's favorites.
In addition, we'll have a special guest DJ, seven year old Lila Frankel who sang one of the Dr. Bop jingles so tune in early to catch her act. It should be fun.

Tomorrow night, Wednesday, June 5th at 8 Eastern time tune in to the Dr. Bop Doo W*p Shop on WRTR.net to hear a song list made possible by my cousin, Jerry and his Saint John's Prep high school classmate Gary Clemente. We sadly lost Jerry five years ago but his spirit and enthusiasm live on through his love of oldies and doo wops. He and Gary compiled a list and categorized it as "You Remember" and "Do you Remember?" This list asks you, the listener to recall an oldie by a group and then asks you if you recall a rarely played song by the same group. Songs by the Reflections, Chiffons, Kathy Jean and the Roommates and Norman Fox and the Rob Roys plus many more songs you may recall from groups and then other songs by the same group you'd be surprised. It should be a fun time for the majority of our show.
To round it off, we will reflect on June 6th, 1944, Operation Overlord or D-Day when the Allied Troops invaded the Normandy Beaches in France some 80 years ago.
