Il suo intento è creare prodotti che racchiudano una sinergia fra questi due mondi. Ogni uscita, infatti, consiste in un disco con un breve albo a fumetti: una sorta di “split” fra una band (o un musicista) ed un fumettista, legati dalla voglia di collaborare ad un’opera comune e condivisa. Nasce fra Roma e Perugia nel 2016 dall' idea di un gruppo di amici con differenti vocazioni e specifiche pr
ofessionali, legati però dal desiderio di dedicarsi ad un progetto che soddisfi la loro passione per la musica, i dischi, i fumetti e le illustrazioni. Non ci si vuole vincolare ad un genere musicale, ne tantomeno ad uno stile fumettistico specifico. Si vuole semplicemente dare una forma concreta a quello che ci piace, nel modo in cui più ci piace, sperando di valorizzare band e fumettisti che riteniamo sel lo meritino. Se necessario, e se lo riteniamo utile al prodotto finito, possiamo offrire la possibilità di registrare (in studio e in location recordings) e svolgere mix e mastering professionali o anche offrire servizi di illustrazione e gragfica. L'etichetta si occupa parallelamente anche di promozione live attraverso l' organizzazione di festival e concerti di musica indipendente e la collaborazione con festival affini e “amici”, fra cui il Degenerò sur l' herbe (Chiusi), Il Grand Fagiuol (Perugia), Notte Night fest e altri. record label and indipendent comic book publisher. Our mission is to search for synergies between these two worlds: every edition includes a record with a comic book: a split between a band or a musician and a comic book artist, united by the desire to collaborate in a shared and common work.
ÙA! was born in 2016 between Rome and Perugia (Italy). We are a professionally heterogeneous group of friends, pointing our different vocations towards a project which can satisfy our desire of music records, comic books and illustration. We don't want to be bound to a musical genere, or even to a specific comic book style. We just want to give a concrete shape to what we like, the way we like it, hoping to enhace the bands and comic book artists we feel deserves. If needed, and if we it useful to the finished product, we can offer the ability to record (in studio and in location recordings) and perform professional mixing and mastering services, as well as providing illustration and graphing services. We also organize, curate, promote or collaborate towards the making of live shows and indipendent music festivals in Italy such as: Degenerò sur l'Herbe (Chiusi, Siena), Il Grand Fagiuol (Perugia), Notte Night (Rome) and more.
