Ok, dumb this down for me.
Women transitioning into men do not compete in men's sports at a competitive level or as their primary source of income (pro athlete). Reason being given, "it's obvious that they couldn't compete at the same level as men. The physiology is different". Even with the added testosterone, these "men" are at an obvious disadvantage.
However...
Men transitioning into women are cheered on as being strong, independent, driven, determined, because of how they are "breaking the barriers" of gender discrimination. Yet, the physiology is being ignored, women are being hurt, and all women's (biological women) are forfeiting games to protest the disadvantages the other team has because of the biological male competing against them.
Given the men are pumped full of estrogen and given testosterone blockers to be able to compete against women. Why are people ignoring the obvious?
If women transition to men, who are pumped full of testosterone and given estrogen blockers outright refuse to compete against biological men.
Why is it not obvious for society when biological men, transition to women have an unfair advantage when competing in women's sports?
Is this just a case of feelings trumping actual reality? Did they quit teaching biology in schools?
What makes it so obvious that transition women cannot compete against men, yet transitioning men who compete in women's sports are given a different set of standards for what should be obvious?
